My Birthday Gifts

Hi Sweets!

Another year older and my goodness I can not believe I am fast approaching my thirties..... how on Earth are my twenties coming to an end so suddenly? I still can not grasp the idea of it all but I guess I might as well get on with it!

Well I had a lovely Birthday as I spent the day with my boyfriend, parents and some friends. I wanted to share with you just a handful of the fabulous items I receied, because they really do deserve to be shared.

Lipsy Jumpsuit
The fella got me this fabulous jumpsuit which got me a lot of lovely compliments. It's from the Michelle Keegan range and fits so well.

Michael Kors Wellies
I used some of my birthday money to purchase these great finds in none other then TK Maxx, it's great what you can find in there sometimes.

PA System
My mom got me a new PA system for my singing gigs, I have yet to try it all out yet but very happy with them and even better they have lights that flash in beat with songs played.

Dorothy Perkins Heels
My housemate gave me these cute nude heels, I wore them out recently on a night out to Nottingham and they were quite comfortable but only for a few hours and then they became a tad painful.

So thats just a peak at what I got, some fab gifts and I definitely felt spoilt this year! I would say roll on next year but I don't want to wish another year away!

Lipsy Pixie Lott Collection

Hi All!

The fab clothing company Lipsy and the singer Pixie Lott have recently collaborated to create a new range of attire in the 'Festival and a Party' theme for summer 2010. The range was exclusively launched tonight at the Bluewater Shopping Centre in London which I was unable to attend. I did however receive some pics from Jo at LipsySocial today which I thought I would post up here. You can see these and much more on the site if you just click here

I must say I do think the range is pretty and cute, but only one item really jumps out at me out of the entire range and that is the following dress......

I love the colours and anything animal print excites me in all honesty!!

This is a lovely cute summer dress which I can imagine would look great teamed with tan gladiator sandals and a matching tan satchel bag!!

This is quite a typical festival outfit which is fitting with the theme of the range. I'm not overly impressed with this dress tbh I feel I could find something similar and extremely cheaper in Primark.

Hopefully you do not think I am knocking the range as I am not!! In my opinion the range is nice and I think it is a 'safe' range. The evening dresses do not play away from your usual Lipsy staple dresses which kind of disapoints me. It would have been nice to see Lipsy and Pixie create dresses with a different brush stroke instead of using the same template of dresses Lipsy use and creating them with just a different colour/theme.

Have a look on the website and let me know what you think!

Blackpool Weekend Clubbing Attire

So this weekend I went up north to Blackpool with my boyfriend and some of his family. It was a much needed FANTASTIC break away which included a visit to the Haven caravan site but we actually stayed in the Premier Inn hotel, and a trip to the Pleasure Beach!!! On Saturday night four of us went out clubbing. I just wanted to show you what I decided to wear until my next post.

My look....

My outfit consisted of the following....

- Lipsy metallic 'keyhole back' dress - Bertie 'Alpha' shoes - Purple Clutch -

And this is how I painted my face...

Face
- MAC studio fix fluid Nc44 -
- MAC studio finish concealer Nc44/Nc45 -
- Rimmel Stay matte powder 'champagne' -
- Ruby & Millie face gloss 'orange C30' on cheekbones -
- No7 cheek colour blush 'petal 25' dusted over face gloss -
- MAC pearlzer sheer pigment 'pearlette' as highlighter -
- FCUK Bronzer -

Eyes

- MAC shadestick 'shimmersand' all over eyelid as a base/primer -
- Barry M dazzle dust '58' on the inner eye corner -
- MAC 'sushi flower' eyeshadow -
- MAC 'creme de violet' eyeshadow -
MAC 'parfait armour' eyeshadow on outer lid -
- Bourjois volume clubbing mascara -
- Collection 2000 fast stroke eyeliner on upper lashes/outer corner -
- Bourjois eye khol on lower lash line -

Although you can't see the full effect of my oufit, I really liked how well the silver and purples looked together and I hope y'all liked it too :) Although my feet started to hurt by 1am my outfit was very comfortable to dance in. My friend Rachel also has a love for Lipsy dresses....

We would def recommend a night out in Blackpool (Hush and Syndicate nightclubs) and also a classic Lipsy dress for your wardrobe. (http://www.lipsy.co.uk/)
