Take care of your skin

Hey Y'all!

I was thinking the other day about my skincare routine and other peoples routine's and initially I thought theirs seems much more elaborate then mine. But then I had a look at my own and realised that actually, mines pretty much elaborate itself.

I know I've mentioned Arbonne a million times before but this literally is the only brand I use for my skincare. I might have great genes (not meaning to brag) but Arbonne has definitely contributed to how well my skin is doing.

I often get asked how do I look younger then I am, and I just tell people all over the above. I talk to them about Arbonne and pretty much point them in the direction of my Mom who sells it. I've converted avid CHRISTIAN DIOR users to Arbonne so I'm telling y'all, it really is fabulous.

Every day I use a mixture of the above products - this is my full skincare routine from shower to just before primer... my primer is Arbonne too - how did you know?

But if I haven't got time I'll definitely wash my face with the RE9 Facial cleanser and then use the RE9 Restorative day cream.....

Before I go to bed I always use my Eye make up remover, facial cleanser and the toner...

I also think treating your skin is a must, so give yourself a nice relaxing bath every now and then.

If I ever break out in spots, guaranteed it's because I'm stressed or not washing my makeup brushes often enough - hands up who is else is lazy in this department?

So that's my skincare routine - Do you have a holy grail skin care brand?

Review: Arbonne Liquid Sunshine

Hi Beauts!

Of the back of the recent blog post regarding my Summer haul, if you are yet to go away to a hot destination then why not check out Arbonne's sun range.

Mineral sunscreen SPF30 for face and body
I will be taking these items on holiday of course and I have been using them in intervals during the British summer but I can vouch for this as you all know I love using Argonne products.

Tinted self tanner
Now why do I use self-tanner? Well let me tell you that brown still bronzes and it also gives a great glow, so a great item to use before jetting off.

Baby care sunscreen SPF30
There is even sunscreen for your little ones, what more could you ask for?

Definitely check out the sunscreen range and give me an update if you purchase anything. Don't forget Arbonne is all green and cruelty free!

Arbonne: A cruelty free brand & haul

Hi Beauts!

Hands up who uses animal friendly cosmetics? I try so hard to use as many products as I can that have not been tested on animals but it doesn't seem to always work out that way. Why can't it be made illegal across the board, it would make it so much easier and I wouldn't feel so guilty using some of my favourite brands anymore. I am however still on the search for the perfect HG foundation, concealer and powder so I can switch my brands.

Anyway, I've introduced you all to the Arbonne brand previously to today, and I still stand by them as a brand and love their products - I only wish the foundation was the perfect shade for me. It's either too light or too dark *sad face* But we'll talk about that another day..... nonetheless I wanted to share a recent Arbonne haul and oh my it's a big one!

I also wanted to focus a  little more on the fact that this is an animal friendly/cruelty free brand and if you did't know about it before you should definitely get to know more about it now. So introductory facts about Arbonne you might want to know about:

♥ Arbonne's brand offers many products including cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, hair care and Nutritional items among more

♥ Arbonne's ingredients policy focuses on Pure - Safe - Beneficial ingredients only as their promise

♥ Arbonne has their very own 'Arbonne Angels' who focus on donating to charitable causes for our next generation.

♥ Arbonne are all about being green, yup folks we have ourselves a brand that focuses on being Earth friendly too, virtually all products are Carbon neutral

♥ Arbonne is accredited by PETA, The Vegan Society and The Leaping Bunny

You can only order products via an Arbonne consultant, I am lucky enough to know three consultants however if you would like some more information visit the website ! Anyway here is my fantastic recent haul.......

Eye Make up remove - Make up Primer
I have yet to use the make up remover but the primer is my HG primer by far

Eyeshadows
Divine Plum - Linen - Titanium
I love the eyeshadows and their packaging is lush too

Lip polish - Brown Sugar
The lip gloss feels great and smells divine

I hope you gained some useful information about this product and if you ever get invited to test the Arbonne products or get invited to an Arbonne party then please do. These are great quality products and well worth the price.. oh and the stuff lasts FOREVER!

Review: Arbonne Renewing Body Gelee

Hi Guys!

It's purpose:
As described on the packaging the gelee is for use after sports and sun exposure at the end of each day and may be left on the body overnight.

My opinion:
I used this to rub into my boyfriends back and legs after a football match, he had been complaining recently of having aches and pains quite a lot after each match so I thought why not have a try of this after seeing some positive comments about it.

The scent is a great mixture of some of the ingredients including spearmint, tangerine and lavender.. it's a lovely scent that lingers for a while and although it is called a Gelee it's not quite a gel or even jelly form.

The gelee smooths onto the skin really easily and great to use whilst massaging into the skin, although you don't want to keep massaging for long otherwise it'll dry out too much. Tom stated that it gave a lovely cooling sensation when penetrating the skin and it really helped with his aching muscles and he felt he could relax much more that evening.

I am excited to try this out myself as I think I will save it for that use, I get flare ups with my lower back sometimes and I think this could be a great remedy for that. So overall a positive review and I am looking forward to using it even more. It's only £34 and looks like it'll last a very long time, as do the majority of Arbonne products I have used in the past- not biased at all. Once again a great product produced by Arbonne!

Has anyone used this before? The packaging also recommends that it can be mixed with Arbonne's essential massage oil but I have yet to try this out also.

Review: Arbonne Make Up Primer

Hi All!

Product
Arbonne Make-up Primer

It's Purpose:
Vitamin-rich makeup primer visually diminishes fine lines and pores, creating a canvas for flawless makeup application

My thought:
I was first given the opportunity to test this product for a week from Jeni at JRS Make up Artist who is also a Independent Consultant for the Arbonne. After this week trial I decided to purchase it for myself because it really made a difference. I have never used a make up primer before, so being my first to try out I was careful to critique it well. First of all the packagine of the product is really nice and elegant.....

The primer is dispensed through a pump, which I personally prefer to anything else. ...

What I noticed immediatley after dispensing it onto my hands to blend onto my face is the velvet texture. It feels so nice I can't describe to you and makes my skin feel very smooth.

Once I had blended it onto my face it almost felt like a light layer on top of my skin. Then when I applied my make-up it seemed to take to my skin a lot easier. My make up is set for the majority of the day and even better for a night out as I don't need to reapply my foundation or blush.

I would definately recommend this product, for £24 it is worth every penny. You don't need to use too much of the product which makes it last for a very long time in my vanity case. Not only does it help your foundation last longer but will also improves the look of your skin!
*Thumbs Up*

Review: Arbonne FC5 Skincare

Hi All!

I have kindly been given some Arbonne skincare products to review by Jeni at JRS Make-up Artist. I was happy to give them ago as even at 23 years old I tend to break out alot. Due to having pretty awkward skin I thought why not as I seem to have tried every skincare product out there and have only ever really been 90% happy with using Nutrogena the brand I currently use; plus I had never heard of this brand before.

Jeni gave me three products from the FC5 range which you can view here and this is my review....

Step One
Purifying Cleanser & Toner Face Wash

It's Purpose:
Cleanse and tones skin with this cooling, refreshing formula that visibly reduces oiliness and helps keep skin looking young, fresh and clean. With fresh strawberry cell extracts and Matte Fresh™ Complex

My thoughts:
I used this twice a day for just over a week and my skin has cleared up beautifully. I am honestly so shocked and cannot praise it enough. The texture is just like any other face wash but the scent is so nice. You only need a small amount and it foams up a bit before you rub it into your skin. Price wise I use to spend around £5/6 for my skincare but for £18.50 I really don't mind paying this for the result I have gained.

Step Two
Oil Absorbing Day Lotion with SPF5

Its Purpose:
Keep skin looking radiant and refreshed with this oil-free moisturiser that helps to absorb oil, giving a fresh, cool sensation to skin. Contains antioxidants and filters UV rays to help prevent sunburn and maintain younger looking skin. With fresh kiwi cell extracts and Matte Fresh™ Complex.

My thoughts:
After washing my face I would apply a small amount of this moisturiser and it made my skin feel very smooth. Again the scent of Kiwi's with this is lush which makes the experience even better. I would say this face cream is on the same level as the Nutrogena Visibly Clear Oil-free moisturiser and in all honesty I would not pay £30 for this. As good as it is, I do believe I gain the same effect from Nutrogena... a much cheaper product.

Step Three
Hydrating Eye Creme

Its Purpose:
Soothing, hydrating formula minimises the appearance of dark circles and fine lines to help brighten and revitalise, promoting a more youthful look. With fresh kiwi cell extracts and Moisture Fresh™ Complex.

My thoughts:
Hands up who has dark circles under their eyes? *both hands goes up* This tub of eye cream could last for ages! Just by dabbing a tiny pea size amount under my eyes until all absorbs my under eyes are noticeable lighter. I have even been told by a family member that she can see the difference! Priced at £25 this is definately an investment buy and will last a long time.

Overall verdict:
Definately a brand I will be using from now on, I already have my fav on order with Jeni. I would definately recommend the use of the oily/comby products for anyone who has awkward skin like mine. I feel so much happier about wearing less make-up after using this! *THUMBS UP*
