Belated Merry Christmas

Hi All!!

I am almost a weeek late with this post but better late then never I guess? I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas this year and are enjoying the holidays whilst we still have some more of it left! Christmas 2011 has been amazing for me, it could not have gone any better! Not only did I get to be merry, have fun, relax and eat until I thought I would burst but I have been very VERY spoilt! Trust me, there is a video post on it's way next week to show and tell of all the goodies I received this year so watch out for that.

I am still without a camera so you will have to stick with me until I find the lead for my old digital camera or until I purchase a new one. For now here is what I wore on Christmas Eve....

Dress: Primark
Belt: Primark

I didn't wear the antlers all night I might add but hey when it's Christmas who cares! Unfortunately my family received some sad news Christmas morning of the sad passing of my great aunt in Jamaica. Understandably the family were quite upset, especially my grandad who was her sibling. My family is strong so we will be fine!

So again, sorry for the lack of posting, i'm having a bit of a break enjoying being lazy in the holiday season but I will be back in full force in the new year!

Have an amazing New Years whatever you decide to do.

Outfit of the Night: Works Christmas Party

Hi All!!

Last weekend was my works christmas party at The Radisson Hotel. This year I decided to recycle an outfit that you have seen me in previously and is one of the first recycled outfits to appear on my blog. Unlike the dress I wore last year which I have never worn again since. Yes ladies and gentlemen; I wore my bridesmaid dress to another major event...

Dress: House of Fraser

A close up of the bead detail...

I also had my nails done to go with my dress...

Ring: Gift from Hawai
Bracelet: Spoiltbaby

I got a few compliments on this dress which is always nice to hear.
What did you wear to your works Christmas party?

Christmas at Bicester Village (UK)

Hi All!!

I wanted to do a post about Bicester Village which is situated in Oxfordshire and for those of you who don't know much about this place please read on. I have been to Bicester but not for a few years now, but I would highly recommend going there for a great shopping experience and what would be better then going to a vintage shopping outlet then in the Festive Season?

As written on the website: Bicester Village is one of the Collection of nine Chic Outlet Shopping® Villages, operated by Value Retail. Founded in 1992, Value Retail has established itself as the only company dedicated to creating and operating luxury outlet shopping villages. Home to some 900 outlet boutiques of the world’s leading fashion and lifestyle brands, the Collection offers an unrivalled luxury outlet shopping experience for discerning shoppers in Europe. So for festive cheer guaranteed to warm the cockles of the most wintery heart, look no further than Bicester Village this December.

As well as their wonderful Christmas lights, late-night shopping on Thursdays over the entire period, and the usual exceptional in-store offers across the many boutiques, weary Christmas shoppers will find a welcome respite from their gift lists at the Christmas Tree House. This cosy festal haven sounds fab as they serve mulled wine, mince pies and the like for visitors needing a little something to restore their seasonal spirit, before hitting the stores once more. Also the lovely people over at Bicester want to give away a Santa’s sack-load of gifts just waiting to be won in the Festive Secrets competition online. Prizes range from weekends away, to stunning pieces from favorite brands, and Village Gift Cards.

I have already had a go at the competition which is really easy, if you have a browse of the website and come across a Bronze, Silver or Gold Reindeer you will be prompted to enter your details to be in with a chance of winning one of the great gifts. Alternatively if you 'like' the Facebook page, you can enter the £100 gift card and Warwick Castle tickets prize draw.

Bicester Village Festive Secrets really seems seems like a fun way to do some Christmas shopping with stores such as Dior, Agent Provocateur, Jimmy Choo and many many more!! I love entering competitions, don't you? Will you be taking part in the online competitions like me? Anyone been to Bicester Village recently or planning on making a trip there soon?

Outfit Inspiration

Hi All!!

Here's another outfit inspiration post for you, I thought this would be a lovely outfit for a trip to the cinema or if you are off to Nandos on date night. Thought I would also incorporate the couple of warm items for the cold weather...

Jumper: Topshop
Leggings: chiarafashion.co.uk
Boots: Dorthy Perkins
Bag: River Island
Scarf: Forever 21

I do think it would be less striking if the jumper was longer sort of 3/4 length? Not everyone is a fan of leopard print leggings so for those who find them quite daring a longer jumper would suit this outfit. I do like the mixture of colours.

What do you think?

Review: Feather Punks

Hi All!!

Product:
'Feather Punks' Feather Extension

It's Purpose:
Handmade feather extensions that are clipped into your hair for decoration. This is what the website reads...

Each hair feather ranges from 2" to 14" in length and commonly come from the rooster all feathers are real unless stated otherwise.

The hair feathers can be treated similar to your own hair and can washed, dried, straightened and curled (on a low heat)

They are attached with a silicone lined micro bead which does no damage to your hair and can last up to 4 months if looked after correctly and maintained on a regular basis (every 4-6 weeks).

The feather itself can be refitted time and time again dependant on its condition, if the feathers fall out for any reason keep them flat and come back and we'll refit them for a reduced price :)

Hair feathers are suitable for all sizes of PUNKS, adults, Kids and Dogs !

Please contact us to find out what colours and styles we currently have in stock as they vary due to seasons.(Grizzy feather is colour/black stripe)

Hair feathers are also available in clip ins and can be custom made.

My Opinion:
Having been sent this to review I was very eager to let you all know about this product. You may have noticed I am a big fan of things in my hair such as headbands and flowers. I have also worn a feather headband also and I was really interested in this product as I have seen them around.

I wore it to the Clothes Show Live and actually got a couple of people tell me they thought it was pretty and really went well with my outfit. I requested the colour theme which is an available option. The clip itself is very easy to use and really small, if you wear clip in extensions you will be familiar with the style of clips used. Not only do Feather Punks sell these feathers but they also do punk strands which is like having strands of tinsel in your hair. Great items to spice up your hair and def thumbs up!!

Outfit of the Day: Clothes Show Live Attire

Hi All!!

I went to the Clothes Show Live yesterday with my girlies Stef and Heidi and we enjoyed it so much! Considering I wasn't planing to go this year I had such a brilliant time.

For those of you who don't know much about it The Clothes Show is an annual event that takes place in Birmingham where thousands and thousands of people go to show at the NEC. The event always has a magical catwalk show with models and dancers - this year The Risk and Kimberley Wyatt (Pussycat Dolls) performed there too.

I shopped until I dropped and I wanted to show you what I wore...

Leggings: H&M
Over the Knee Boots: Forever 21

Blazer: ASOS
Shirt: Jane Norman
Bow tie: Headscarf worn as tie

I also wore a feather in my hair from Feather Punks which I have been sent to review so check my next post about that...

I decided to go with the classic winged eye, false lashes and red lipstick for my make-up....

My nails were matted black from Avon.....

Here is what Heidi (The Rockettes) and Stef wore.....

Trousers: New Look

Jumper: Vintage

What do you think? Did you go to the clothes show, if so what did you wear?

Outfit of the Day: Wooly Hat

Hi All!!

This is the wooly hat I will be rocking for the majority of Winter! Last year I wore my red beret quite a lot and now this year I decided to go for a cream one. I am in search for a leopard print one too, what do you think?

Hat: Primark

I love this top too, I always seem to wear a fair bit of baggy clothes in the winter. Is that just me or do you do the same?

Top: Topshop

Only a quick one tonight! Sorry the photo quality is a bit naf and blurry!!
