Haul: The higher the better.. the cheaper the better!

Hi All!!

I have a couple of haul posts for you this week, I thought I would start off with showing you some heels I bought the other week....

Heels: Primark

I have wanted some nice sleek and high black heels for a few years but I have never come across the 'right' pair. So when I saw these suede platforms in Primark for only £12 I couldn't leave them. The are rather comfy and I even wore them to my works Christmas party last weekend which I have a post coming up for you all!

What do you think?

Bunnies Everywhere!!

Hi All!!

For those of you who have been following my blog for a while you will know that I am the proud owner of two rabbits; Missy and Leo and you can find out a bit more about them here

In October somehow Leo managed to get out to Missy and roughly 30 days later my gorgeous Missy gave birth to a litter of eight kits (baby rabbits). I have had many ups and unfortunately a few downs caring for mother and babies as three have now passed away. But I am left with five kits who are now eight weeks old! So here is a post full of cute rabbits for you all and just how well I have coped being a new grandma...

They were moved into a shed which I have decorated for Christmas....

The hutch was moved inside....

Missy when they first moved in, the kits were only 2 weeks old...

Leo is on his own until the kits are rehomed and then he can move in with Missy....

Here are lots of pics of the babies now.....

So these are the beautiful baby bunnies I have been living with for the pass two months, I will be rehoming them and it looks like two of them will be leaving me this week :(

I hope you liked!!

Outfit of the Day: Winter woolies

Hi All!!

The weather temperature suddenly dropped this week and I hear the rest of the week won't be any better, so I got the winter woolies out and wrapped up warm...

Jumper dress: River Island
Leggings: Primark
Boots: Hypnotic

Beret: House of Fraser
Pashmina: Market

I thought the hints of red set off the outfit perfectly and I was definitely warm throughout the day!! Wearing a hat or my ear muffs are a MUST currently, they really do make a difference in keeping me warm.

What are your winter must haves at the moment?

And she's back....

Hi All!!

I had another break from blogging as life kind of took over and I didn't have time to come on here as much as before. I tell you what this has been one roller coaster of a year but I can do is ride it out until everything is the way I want it to be. I have missed blogging and also reading blogs so I hope I can back into the swing of things again and I hope you will all forgive me for being missing in action for so long.

I hope you are all doing well and I hope you will stick around to see what posts I have coming...

Review: Imperial Leather LE Shower Cream

Hi All!!

Product:
Imperial Leather LE Butterfly Lily shower cream with Jojoba Pearls

It's Purpose:
A limited edition in the Blissful range which states:

'Prepare for a truly pampering experience. Blissful, combines beautiful fragrances with delicate pearls infused with moisturising Jojob oil, in our luxurious shower cream. Our scrumptious formulation will leave your skin feeling radiant with a renewed sense of wellbeing.

Butterfly Lily is known for it's gentke, soothing properties, while Jojoba has been used for centuries as a natural aid to nourish skin.'

My opinion:
I was attracted to the bright packaging of this product, I usually love using Imperial Leather shower creams or gels so when I saw this edition which is fairly new around I decided to try it. Having smelt the fragrance there and then in store, which I have to say smells divine, I had to purchase it.

After using the shower cream I can give you all my honest opinion... I can not fault it. My skin really did feel smooth and the main thing for me that makes me really like this product is that my skin was left with a lovely scent even after drying. I think I will stock up on more of these before this LE is off the market for good. *thumbs up*

Look how quickly I have gotten through the bottle.......

Bank Holiday: A friends Wedding

Hi All!!

So the second wedding I attended last week was a work colleagues wedding at Rownton Castle in Shrewsbury, quite a distance to travel but it was a lovely day.

Here is what I wore...
Dress: Karen Millen
Heels: River Island

Instead of a fascinator I wore this feather hairclip from Primark for £1.50....

I also decided to check out the Primark false lashes for only £1 and they really did the trick...

Bank Holiday: A Family Wedding

Hi All!!

It's been a while since I posted here, I 've had a few things to sort out but hopefully I will be getting back into the swing of things now. I hope you all had a great bank holiday weekend? I had two weddings to attend and this is the first of two post's about them.

On Saturday I attended my cousin's wedding and here is what I wore....

Dress: Lipsy
Jacket: Primark

And instead of a fascinator I wore this bow I bought from Miss Selfridge for only £1....

My cousin's who was the Bride decided on purple as the theme colour as you can see by her flowers and the Father of the Bride's suit.....

It was a lovely day and I was so happy to see her wed, she is the first grandchild to get married so it goes to show how we're all growing up now! There are a few other photo's for me to add here but my laptop has decided to play up again so I will add them soon.

Olympic Style: Gold, Silver and Bronze

Hi All!!

So it has been almost a week since the Olympics ended and I have to say I am well and truly missing it. Before it started I was not really interested in watching it but I got hooked on almost the very first day and then watched it everyday once I got home from work, or all day on the weekends if I wasn't busy.

I was really sad to see those two weeks fly by so fast and I think Team GB did us proud - oh and I have to praise Team Jamrock too (as part of my heritage is Jamaican) I cheered on both teams...I reckon I leaned towards GB more though when I could haha!

Since the Olympics have finished and the Para Olympics are due to start I thought I would do a post with them both in mind for some inspiration. Instead of doing a 'Go Team GB Go' post with the Union Jack as inspiration like I did for the Queens Jubilee, I thought I would post some Gold, Silver and Bronze inspirational items.

Take a peek at these....

Gold

Silver

Bronze

All items are currently on sale at  www.asos.com which also has a 50% off selected items sale. So if you fancy wearing the gold, silver or bronze in celebration of the Olympics and Para Olympics then I hope this post is of some help to you.

Website: Huxton

Hi All!!

In need of a new clothing website? Interested in finding something different to add to your wardrobe? Well look no further then Huxton. A fairly new brand founded by two ladies; Joanna Lingham and Rebecca Pikard and they have set out to make unique pieces available for the general public.

As the website states:

"The Huxton collection is designed for women who love to express their personality through their style and who have the courage to wear something eye-catching and bold. Huxton is ‘Fashion for Free Living’ and the Huxton woman does not conform, she is strong, indepedent and she dares to live life on her own terms.
All of our designs are produced in limited quantities of between 20 and 50 units, the garments really are unique pieces and we pride ourselves on this. We constantly add new designs to the collections as we want you to have something new to choose from every month."

Take a peek at my favourite items from the site...

My favourite is the maxi dress...very lush I would love to own that!! What do you like?

Trends: Snapbacks

Hi All!

It is by no means a recent trend when it comes to other people; but for me it is a trend that I have loved for a long time but never had the courage to attempt. Well now I am and I love it....

Snapbacks are great to add to any casual outfit such as leggings and pumps or high tops. This one is from Birmingham market, you know me I'll find a bargain anywhere. I don't think paying £35/40 on a cap is for me when I know I can get similar caps for around £5 upwards at the local market! This is why I now own three of them!

Are you liking snapbacks?
