Splurge vs Save: Platform Heels

Hi All!!

So the platform heels, boots and wedges are all in trend at the moment but if you don't have £100+ to spend on Jeffrey Campbell footwear which started off the recent trend then why not take a peek at these splurge vs save options......

SPLURGE
Jeffrey Campbell American Flag Boots £102.53

SAVE
Missguided.co.uk USA Boots £33.59

SPLURGE
Jeffrey Campbell Corleone Wedges £112.14

SAVE
Chockers Superstar Wedges £40

SPLURGE
Jeffrey Campbell Damsel Spikes £133.29

SAVE
Missguided.co.uk Studded Boots £49.99

SPLURGE
Jeffrey Cambell Napoles Sneakers £126.88

SAVE
Chockers Max Sneakers £39.99

As you might remember I already have those USA as a cheaper alternative to the Jeffrey Campbell style. I think if you don't have the money to spend on the brand then there is no harm in purchasing the cheaper alternative. However I do adore the Corleon wedges, they are beautiful!

Which do you prefer?

Outfit of the Night: Watch the Throne

Hi All!!

Last weekend I went to see Jay Z and Kanye West in concert on their 'Watch the Throne' album tour and I have to say it was an AMAZING concert. I would say the best concert i've ever been to if i'm completely honest, not only did they sing the songs from the album also some of their popular solo hits.

Great music and a great atmosphere and for a last minute gig too you can't go wrong, i'm sure if you've seen the tour you will agree. Anyways here is what I wore....

T-Shirt: Topshop
Leggings: Primark
Pumps: Primark
Snapback: Market

Messing about on the way there......

The show was epic....

Hope you liked!!

Bloggers Beware of Copycats

Hi All!

First things first - Domanique is NOT happy!!!

I wanted to highlight something for all my readers attention as I accidentally came across this blog today whilst searching for my nickname of all things on Google. Notice anything familiar on there? Yes those are my blog posts.

If you go through this blog you will see that the majority of my blog posts and possibly from other bloggers have been copied and pasted here. Now I do not know who runs this blog nor do I have a contact name or email address to get in touch with them. However what I will say if YOU are the owner of this blog I am not very happy with you.

Why? I would not be writing this blog post if YOU; the owner of that blog had credited me for all the posts that are on there that are mine! Which is looks like three years worth since I started my own blog back in 2009. If you had linked all these posts back to Live Laugh Love Fashion which is the rightful home of these posts then I would not be angry at all, I would be very happy that someone out there is helping network my blog. If you are reading this, I would like you to do one of the following;
1. Remove every blog post written by myself and this will be the end of it
2. Credit every blog post with the following under my nickname 'This posts orignal source; http://live-laugh-love-fashion.blogspot.co.uk/' and I will be happy with your networking help

If you do not comply with the above or contact me to explain why you have done this via email I will be taking this to Blogger Support.

To my readers; please make sure your posts are safe and not copied by checking this blog. I know we can not always help where our content ends up but I want everyone to be aware of this.

Finally; thank you to ladies on Twitter (@Doma_Nikki) who have been tweeting myself and others about this. Follow me on there and the #bbloggers hashtag for any updates that may not be posted here. From now moving forward I will try and watermark all photos and include links to Live Laugh Love Fashion somewhere in each post to protect myself from this again. If you can please point me in the right direction of a website to watermark images I would appreciate this?

Lets work together on this ladies and gents!

Outfit of the Night: Leather and Chiffon

Hi All!!

Last weekend I went to Blackpool for my family tradition of celebrating my Uncle's birthday and I wanted to show you what I wore....

Asymmetric Dress: House of Fraser
Belt: Primark

I wish I had some better photos of this dress, as you might be able to see the top half is leather and the rest is chiffon. It was actually quite see through so I had to wear a bodycon skirt underneath to protect my dignity! Here are some photos of the night....

Hope you liked!

Trends: Jubilee Fashion

Hi All!

So our Queen's Diamond Jubilee takes place this weeked to mark her 60 year reign and in recognition to this we will be having a Bank Holiday weekend to celebrate it. Now I am sure some of you maybe looking forward to the Jubilee celebrations and the four day weekend, others maybe looking forward to some sort of bank holiday weekend celebrations and others really don't care for the Jubilee or the weekend.

I appreciate our Royals I have to say, and regardless of our views I think the fashion at the moment is really inspirational and makes me feel proud to be English!!! Everywhere I go I see the Union Jack in shop windows on pillows, canvas and clothes. I don't remember the last time this theme was around as a trend so I personally have decided to embrace it.

I am not quite sure what I will be wearing this weekend but here are some fab items I spotted.....

Alexander McQueen

Next
River Island

Vivienne Westwood

We are Handsome

If I was a millionaire I would own that Vivienne Westwood gown, but a girl can dream. What will you be wearing? What are your favourite's from the above?
