Hair: My hair journey 2015

Hey all!

This post is long overdue and as I get asked about my hair quite a lot nowadays I thought I might as well do a little blog post about it and take my blog into a new direction that focuses more around hair and reviewing hair, who knows! If I get complimented on my hair chances are there will always be a follow up question 'is that all your hair' and I don't usually go into great detail but I explain that it isn't my own hair. However women are pretty persistent in finding out what brand, style of hair you're wearing and who installed it. When I tell them it's a wig all hell breaks loose.

Yes you read right, I have a love for wigs and I have been wearing them now for around six months. In particular I have purchased half wigs which means I keep the front part of my own hair out and style it, this makes it so much easier to blend my hair and make it look as 'natural' as possible.

So here's some looks I've been wearing recently.....

That's it for now but look out for more posts based around the following topics:
  • Protective hair styling
  • Hair reviews
  • Hair growth
  • How to....
  • Wig tips

Make sure to subscribe and leave any comments for any recommendations or what you would like to see.

Keeping my skin hydrated and moisturised in Winter

Hi All!

Anyone else take extra extra good care of their skin during the winter months? I thought so! Well this winter is quite bitter and if I don't stay on top of my skincare routine it will take it's toll so I just wanted to share a quick review of some products I've been using on a regular basis.

Dove 'Winterplege' Body wash
I had never seen this Dove shower wash until one day when I was in the pound shop. I noticed it is a limited edition so if you do spot it make sure you purchase it because it has such a yummy scent makes my skin feel super soft after showering.

Soap & Glory 'The Righteous Butter'
Who doesn't love this brand really? I do and I was lucky enough to be gifted with a deluxe box set as a gift for Christmas by my dad. I know it's going to last a long time so keep an eye out for any more reviews like this one of some of the other products. But anyway back to this shea butter all you need is a dab and you really do feel your skin moisturise to the maximum after use.

Do you have any particular winter skincare tips? If so leave a comment and I'll check it out.

Outfit of the Night: Silver & Neon

Hi Ladies!

To celebrate my boyfriends birthday I went out last night and wanted to share with you what I wore....

Two piece set - Christmas Gift
Bag - H&M

Shoes - Sam Edelman

I thought a pop of colour with my lipstick would be a good idea along with the neon bag and heels just to set off the outfit. But this wasn't enough so I popped a statement necklace on too...

 Lipstick - Barry M
Necklace - Christmas Gift

What do you think of this outfit?

Haul: Undies and Bikin's

Hi Sweets!

I adore underwear, all types of it and in an array of colour's and designs... although the majority of my collection is black. I really feel like I've treated myself when I buy a new set. So you can imagine just how pleased I was when I added these sets to my collection....

Pink stripes - Knickerbox @ Ann Summers
Nude/Black Lace - Primark

Both of these undies are the same bra size but I've just noticed how much bigger the Primark bra is to the Knickerbox set.

Now yes I know it's January but what better time to start bikini shopping for Summer then in the sales? On the same day I also spotted this lush bikini and was lucky enough to be able to get both bra and pants in the correct sizes, because nothings worse then seeing half of a set in your size and the other half is too big or too small.

Bikini - River Island

So that's my most recent haul, I can't wait to wear the bikini on my jollies and also the pink undies. Does anyone else find they keep really pretty undies until special occasions?

Outfit of the Night: Mesh Midi Dress

Hi Gals!

I never say 'gals' by the way haha! Okay so after my slight obsession as mentioned in my previous trend post I went out and ordered myself a mesh dress...

ASOS

I'm not gonna lie just before I left my home I felt tad bit naked, but I kind of put it to the back of my mind and even though I got some 'oh my' looks on my night out I am hoping the high street latches on to the trend soon so I can purchase more items.

What's even better is my fella was 100% supportive of the dress (complete with bandeau and knickers) and really took the mick out of me for practically going out in my undies. Its great to have a boyfriend who likes to show me off rather then be insecure and try and get me to change clothes.Because lets face it, there's no way I would change!

Do you think you could wear something like this?

Trends: Sheer Dresses

Hi Beauts!

The Autumn/Winter trend includes one of my favourite styles of clothing in recent times. The sheer, see through or mesh dresses - whichever you want to call it - I adore it! But be careful this style can range from elegant to tacky in a heartbeat.

These are some looks I really like...

What are your thoughts?

Welcome 2015 lets make it a great year!

Hi Everyone!

A very belated Happy New Year to you all.... I hope you all had a brilliant Christmas and New Years? Mine was a very enjoyable period and I can not believe it's over for another year so quickly. I am so happy to be going into the new year with a new job and high aspirations for a successful year. Anyways, here's a bit of info of what I got up to.....

On Christmas Day I wanted to do something really different so I did some Rudolph inspired make up. My family really do think I'm a bit mental, but if you can't do things like this every now and then for a bit of fun then when can you?

I also had a New Years Eve 90's fancy dress party to attend and I really wanted to do something different to the usual cliche type ideas, so I decided to go as Scar from Disney's The Lion King. Again it was a really fun make up look to create......

I am so looking forward to future opportunities to create new fancy dress make up looks so keep an eye out for those posts.
