Nails of the Week

Hi All!!

So I always vowed I would never purchase a No7 nail polish again as they always chipped so easily and never seemed to last long. But the key to this brand of polish is to wear it on false nails....

No7 Speed Dry Polish
'Coral Kiss'

I have had this polish on for a few days now and i'm quite impressed in all honestly. So I used up all the rest of my Boots £5 off vouchers to buy some more sparkly polishes to get me into the Christmas spirit. And although it is no longer Summer I am really into coral at the moment it brightens up these dull days so well. Not only have I been wearing it on my nails but also my lips, watch out for piccies coming soon!!

My new eye patch: Making the best out of a bad situation!!

Hi All!!

So this week is going to be a dodgy one, I have been told that I have an ulcer growing on my left eye! GREAT!! :o( Luckily you can't see it, its like right at the back, inside my eye somewhere so no gruesome photos to be taken. But unfortunately as I cannot wear my contact lense because of the eye drops/cream medication I have been prescribed; and do not currently own any up to date glasses I am basically buggered.

I can only see clearly out of my right eye, yes my eyesight is that bad! So I have resorted to wearing a eye patch at work to help me out when using the pc.... and yes I am wearing it now haha. But making the best out any bad situation only I would resort to wearing a eye patch.. but only if it was sequined.....

Hahahaa!!

PS: this is my outfit of the day

Top: Topshop
Belt: Primark
Clock Pendant: Boots
Leggings: Accessorize
Gold Flats: Bank

Spartoo Spotlight: Irregular Choice

Hi All!

So today's Spartoo post is about the Irregular Choice heels you can find on the site. Another great brand that is available for you to purchase from there.

I am a fan of these heels, however have never purchased a pair purely because in recent times I have never been able to afford them. However having said this I was very close to buying a pair of pink and gold leopard print heels from Irregular Choice a couple of years ago- even though spending £60+ on one pair of heels at the time was a big no no! Nowadays I think if I like a pair of heels and cannot stop thinking about them (you know the kind that you imagine wearing with six different outfits in ten seconds) well I will more then likely buy them. But we all know how much I love a bargain, so the day I spend that amount on heels; you know they are a special pair.

Back to the Irregulars.... Spartoo has a small selection of the brand available to purchase but nonetheless they are available for you. And with free delivery also available all I can say is, why not?

Here are just a few heels that caught my eye....

If you know your heels then you can always recognise Irregular Choice heels, right? The shape of the toe, the colours, patterns and textiles used and the obvious 'the crazier the better'. I love the names of the heels shown above also, I think it gives them such character and they also help define what sort of outfit you will wear with them. That's another thing, shoes like these make an outfit.

So what are you waiting for?

Halloween 2010: Outfit of the Night

Hi All!!!

Did you all have a good Halloween? I hope so as I had a wicked one!! I know it's a few days late but i've been dealing with a ulcer that has decided to grow slap bang in the middle of my eye! Luckily it can't been seen (sighs with relief) but it means I cannot wear a contact lense in one of my eyes for the rest of the week (boo!)

Anyways, for Halloween I dressed up as a Harlequin Jester and created Pierott make-up for the full effect. And this is how I looked.....

Outfit of the Night

Make-Up

For the make-up look this is what I used...

Face
Bourjois foundation 'porcelain'
Collection 2000 powder 'ivory'
Talcum Powder (Yes you read right)
No 7 Blush
Eyes
Inner Eye: MAC 'Electra'
Outer Eye: MAC 'Carbon'
Lashes: Eylure
Liner: Collection 2000
Tears: Face paint
Lips
Foundation as above to cover lips
Lipstick (do not have brand with me but will update)

Richard went as Beetlejuice, the scene in the film when his head shrinks? Well this costume was a wicked find as it has inflatable shoulders to create the same affect. And guess what.. Richard won the best costume competition!!

Group photo...

What did you dress up as for Halloween?
