Clothes & Dance Show Live 2010

Hi All!!

I was given the fantastic opportunity to be gifted with some tickets from Just Dance 2 to go to the Clothes Show Live this year. I really appreciated this a jumped on the chance of being able to attend. I was not planning on going to the event this year but was delightful to be given the chance.

What was interesting too is that this year the dance show was running along side it. This part of the event was directed towards dancers and people interested in the arts which was a different take on the show. It was however very fitting with the fact that the fashion show they present to the fashion goers as they always have dancers aswell as models perform on the catwalk.

The fashion show was brilliant this year and none other then Gok Wan presented.....

After the show instead of getting straight to the shopping we went over the the Dance section as it was new to me. I have been to the show around five times previously so I knew exactly what to expect. But over in the the dance area the new game 'Just dance 2' was being promoted and was available for people to test out. I have played the first game and reaaly enjoyed it but have not tried out the second. I didn't however have a go but saw a few people trying it out and it looked like fun...

There were groups performing, unforunately I can't remember this girl groups name but they did a great job....

When we did get a chance to do some shopping I bought the fella a vintage sheep skin jacket for xmas - which he begged me to buy for him! Yes he came with me!! And I got myself some boot hugs but not for the purpose they are meant for....

Look out for a post dedicated to these soon!
Did you go to the clothes show this year? If so what did you think and what did you buy?

Joe Browns: Hippie Dresses

Hi All!!

We are not all into the same style, so sometimes I think it's nice to post a lil something for those with a quirky sense of style. And we all know that dresses are a hard thing to buy. You tend to go on a trip to find a dress, spend all day looking and end up buying the first one you saw. Typical! So perhaps you should find your style and then you are narrowing the amount of dresses you have to look through.

Hippie Dress
I am a fan of Hippie Clothing believe it or not, particularlyHippie Dresses. Long flowing fabric with plenty of room to breathe is what I ask for in a dress, especially in the Summer.

Full Length Dress
Full length dresses are high on my list. Joe Browns has a number of long dresses that are perfect for those with a quirky style. This includes the Party Nights Dress and the All Seasons Dress. These are complete opposites but both perfect.

Party Dress
The Party Nights Dress is black and grey with a corset fastening at the back. It has a three tiered skirt made of lace fabric. The bodice is a satin look fabric that scoops down to reveal a little cheeky cleavage.

All Seasons Dress
The All Seasons Dress is made of a stunning fabric. It does look like all the seasons put together. It has long sleeves and a full skirt, making it an ideal winter dress with a cardigan and boots and it can be just as stylish in the summer with a pair of sandals.

Versatility is another must on my dress hunt. I like to get value for money and feel like I can wear it more than once. I see no point in buying a dress for one occasion and then never wearing it again, except perhaps your wedding dress. There is always a way to adapt and make your dress look completely different to when you wore it before.

Even if Hippie Clothing is not your style you can still follow my advice in finding your style, finding your favourite shape of dress and then go from there. It really does eliminate the stressful dress shopping fiasco that so many of us find ourselves in so often.

Visit Joe Browns today to find all styles of hippy clothing to keep you warm this winter.
