Review: Rare Fashion Dress

Hi All!!

I was given the opportunity in September to write a review on a dress from the amazing company Rare Fashion. Now firstly I want to apologise to the guys and gals over at Rare for the over due post on my review.

In all honestly to Rare and my readers I truly needed the right occasion to wear the item I chose as it is not something I would usually go for. This is the dress I chose.....

Having said that, I did choose this dress myself so it was entirely my fault that it took so long for me to finally wear it out. But now I have so please continue on to read my review of the dress!!!!

Initially when I was approached by Rare to pick an item I wanted something different in my wardrobe, something of a different colour and style. So I chose the above dress as I really did like it. It arrived quickly and looked exactly how it does on the website. I tried it on and it fit well, the only thing about this dress is the mesh overlay to the tight bodycon part of the dress. It can sit 'funny' and by this I mean if it gathers around certain parts of your body it can be slightly unflattering. This however can be adjusted so don't be put off by that.

I wore the dress tonight and I have not long got back from my Aunties 50th birthday party, and this is exactly what I feel this dress is; a party dress. To me this dress is not what I would choose as my typical 'raving' attire. It is a lovely dress but I also have to feel 100% comfortable in what I am wearing and make sure I am wearing it to the correct event. This is how I looked tonight......

It sits well and accentuates your curves, the colour that I picked is 'Berry' but it is also available in 'Red'.

The detail of the crossover straps in the middle of a backless cut is brill for those girls that like a bit of extra going on with their outfits. Or for those girls who are not 100% comfortable with a full backless dress.

I teamed my dress with a pair of Miss Selfridge suede heels following one of this seasons party trends of block colours- wearing the same colour of dress and shoes- and I thought they complimented each other well. I got quite a few compliments on this dress, especially its colour.

I would definately recommend Rare for party dresses, they are one of the top sites for different styles to the high street. They are also well made and definately worth the price you pay, so do not hesitate to check out the dresses on the website!!

What do you think?

Spartoo: Fiorelli Review

Hi All!!

I have been given the opportunity to receive another item from the Spartoo website to review for you guys! I decided to order from a brand I think is very popular and this is Fiorelli. So I ordered this stunning bag.....

£66

I knew this would be a great investment for my wardrobe, and with purples being one of the shades of Autumn/Winter its perfect. It arrived within three days of receiving my dispatch email and I was very excited to open up my package. So what do you think?

It is a fairly big handbag which is perfect for me as I carry around alot things on a daily basis. Being a typical girl I prefer to have all and everything on me then need something as silly as my eye drops and realise 'I don't have it with me today because I have a smaller handbag'!!! The two enclosed compartments zip up and they also do the trick nicely so that I can seperate my load......

The faux crocodile skin material feels soooooo soft it has to be said! The detail and colour is amazing and finishes of any outfit perfectly.......

I have used this bag everyday since I received it and I will be using it continuously from now on. I adore it, it was a great choice and I am so grateful to the guys and gals at Spartoo for allowing me to choose this to review.

I assumed I would be pleased with this product as I am aware that Fiorelli is a well made popular brand with different styles to suit all. I am also aware that Spartoo would not promote the sale of products that are not going to do well and I feel you should check out the rest of the range on the site to see if there is anything you like.

What are your thoughts?

Wishlist && Help?!!

Hi All!!

So I have been searching the net for a cheap evening gown for the works bow tie event Xmas party, and although I previously showed you a dress from Very I have found this dress on Light in the Box

How stunning is that?!! I want it so bad and for only £76 I think it is a bargain! Also you'd think that the shipping from China would be ridiculously expensive but it really isn't so I am still saving money buying this dress then purchasing a gown similar in the UK.

It is also a copy of a gown Blake Lively wore to the Golden Globes in 2009.....

The only catch with this is that as all the items from Light in the Box are shipped from China the waiting time is quite a while. Unfortunately I cannot afford to purchase this dress right now and if I wait until payday it won't arrive in time *sad face*

All dresses are made by hand and from scratch and can take up to 15 days to be delivered. I am trying my hardest to persuade the boyfriend to order it for me and I will pay him back so fingers crossed!!!

Does anyone know anyone know any cheap websites with gowns for under £100? If so please let me know asap!
