Haul: £5 Ankle Boots

Hi Cupcakes!

Jeez guys, this is one of the best bargains I have had the pleasure of buying in a while, and I've wanted some really nice ankle boots for a while, well now I've got some for a fraction of the price! I bought these lovelies for only £5 in Primark! Yes you read correct, I said £5!!!!


Ladies.. and gentlemen, take a quick look at my new sexy boots....

I love how one of my rabbits, Belle, got into the background of the last shot haha! Anyone else had the chance to snap some £5 booties up at Primark this week?

Mine were from the Birmingham store and there were LOADS of boots, so why not check out your local Primark and see if you can bag yourself your own pair.

Trends: Rainboots

Hi Lovelies!

How awful is this weather? So very unpredictable for us fashionistas! One day I can be wearing a hot bodycon midi with pumps and the next thermal leggings and over the knee boots. I think a good preparation for the weather is a must and so happy that I found my fabulous Michael Kors wellies or rainboots (whichever you feel to call them) in TK Maxx for a wicked price!

If you don't fancy paying out too much for some rainboots then what better time then now for me to post about the nicest rainboots or wellies that are about.....

Haul: Bargain Boots

Hi All!!

Whilst in Blackpool I purchased my third pair of replica Jeffrey Campbell boots...

For only £20 I couldn't leave them in Blackpool I had to bring them back with me! Looking at the second photo does make me think of Night Fever haha! Oh well I adore them!!

Review: No7 Exquisite Curl Mascara

Hi All!

Product:
No7 Exquisite Curl Mascara

It's Purpose:
For curvy lashes with a sexy flutter. Lashes watch out – the latest mascara offering from No7 will coax them to a more beautifully curved and volumised look, with long lasting curl!

My Thoughts:
I am a virgin to No7 mascara's so given the opportunity to review the newest mascara to hit No7's shelves as my first ever to try I was keen to do so. By the name of the product I thought it would be perfect given the type of lashes I personally feel make my eyes look good and frame them well.

The emphasis on this mascara is that it curls and volumises at the same time. I decided to test it out for a week to get the full effect of what it can actually do for both day and night looks. For the daytime a natural, curled looked is what I obtained. It was just right and only needed two coats to get this look.

In all honesty for a night time look it is not the mascara for me, it doesn't give me that va va voom effect. Now even using my own technique of appying mascara to gain this look; which is to start at the root of my lashes and extended upwards in a back and forth motion across all lashes, I did not achieve my desired long and thick lashes.

However, I do think with this mascara you will get the curl but not so much the volume. This is my own opinion and what sort of look I want on my eyes. I do not feel that if you want to buy this mascara that you shouldn't because it does curl! Unfortunately I would not purchase this as I can not build up the mascara enough for a dramatic look. To end on a positive note I will continue to use this for the daytime as I can not fault it there!

Boots the Chemist Information!

Hi All!!!


So as some of you may know as my second job I am currently a part time sales assistant at......

I've been thinking that from now on I will hopefully be able to give you all a heads up of what the current/future offers are at Boots when I find out myself. Also, if you guys have any questions regarding Boots I could give you details to the best of my knowledge and hopefully help you out. Unfortunately I am not being paid extra for this, although I wish I could haha! What I was hoping for is if my UK followers in particular, could just give a little feedback on this idea? do you guys think this may benefit some of you?

Just so you know, I have been an employee of Boots since November 2003 as a Sunday girl. I work on the main tills but have experience on the Fragrance section, No7 and Benefit so I know a bit about beauty stuff :o)

FYI
My first FYI, which the majority of you may already know is that we currently have a 3 for 2 mix and match offer across all of:
♥ Self selection cosmetics (excludes premium brands such as clinique, dior, lancome etc)
♥ Haircare
♥ Skincare

ie. You can buy three items within for example cosmetics from any self selection brand and get the cheapest free. You cannot mix the offer across cosmetics, haircare and skincare.

Budget Buys- Mini Haul

Today I quickly popped to town just to fetch some new mascara and face wipes because i've run out! But i came back home with all of this...

1. Pure Deep Cleanse Wipes 2x

2. T-Zone All Night Clear & Restore Gel Patches

3. Pet Hair Lint Remover

4. Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara

5. Natural Collection Vanilla Bath Fizzler

I bought the wipes, t-zone patches and lint rolls from a Poundsaver store!!! The wipes were on a BOGOF offer too which was fab!! Im always in desperate need of lint rolls because of my cat malting all year round so i tend to buy these alot. I saw the T-Zone patches and because my pores have been looking horrible recently i thought id test these out, so we'll see how these help along with my usual facial cleaning process. (could be a future blog post?) So i spent 3pounds in store today!

I bought the mascara and bath fizzler from work (Boots) so i could use my staff discount and get lovely Boots advantage card points of course!!! I've heard amazing things about this mascara so i thought id best try it out and take a break from my usual Bourjous volume clubbing mascara. So i bought this for 6.79 (including discount). The bath fizzler was in the sale for 45p so i couldn't leave it standing all alone on the discount shelf :D I also thought id let you know that: Boots currently have a limited offer on three of Max Factor's products including the false lash effect mascara (im not sure of the other two products sorry) where you can save 3pounds!!!

Total Price of todays mini haul = 10.49 (apologies my pound sign has broken)

Sounds like tonight calls for a pamper sess with my bath fizzler!!
