Outfit Inspiration: It's hearts, kisses and roses season

Hi Lovebirds!

It's Valentine's week and now that we've got the most important date in February over, Pancake day of course, I wanted to share with you a cute Valentines inspired outfit that might get your pulses races..... bad joke I know,, sorry!

I wanted to focus more on the powder pink tones then hot pink or red which are the usual shades associated with Valentines Day. This outfit can be worn on a casual date with the fella or a girl date to the pub so slag off all the lovebirds on this event.

Anyone would think I'm single? I'm not, I just don't like single people to feel left out at this time of year. Don't forget lovelies, Valentine's day, in my opinion, is not just for the love sick couples but for everyone who loves their family and friends. Don't forget to surround yourself with  positive beings this week and every day.

I absolutely adore this chunky knitwear and it's the first time in a while that I've worn it and to be honest it serves it's purpose quite well. Its keeps me warm when needs be but it if the day is a bit warm it's quite airy to so I'm not constantly sweating.

Outfit Inspiration: Autumn ready

Hey Ladies!

I can't believe it's been two months since I posted an outfit inspiration post and being a current obsessive over fedora's right now I had to include a fedora into this one...

Isn't the colour of this hat just lush? And I definitely was not going to have too much fuss going on in this outfit otherwise I think it would be too busy. Don't you just love it when a random outfit comes to mind and then you see it in the flesh? I wish I had masses amount of money to buy everything I imagine.... I'd be forever shopping.

Re-writing the Royal Ascot Style Guide

Hi Ladies!

So I've decided to take up the Far Fetch Challenge which takes inspiration from the Unfollow campaign. This campaign is all about individuality, being yourself and being unique! I wanted to see what I can bring to the table in regards to mixing it up on a new unique style that ladies could consider when attending the prestigious event that is Royal Ascot.

As you all know this annual event is very fashion focused and with the strict style guide organisers are all about formality and modesty. Sometimes these are not easy to follow or as interesting to follow if you don't fancy blending in.

Lets take a look at a couple of ideas I had for how to attend this event not only wearing a fabulous hat or fascinator but also an amazingly unique outfit also.

Masculine Chic
My first look takes inspiration from a few things; firstly my fascination with the androgynous concept of women in power suits, strong make up and making a statement with a hat. Ideally with something such as a top hat, so taking inspiration also from the men's part of the style guide. Here is an idea on how to mix masculine entities such as tailoring with the feminine body...

Elegance at it's Finest
Whilst I wanted to offer something a little different to the norm above, I also wanted to keep within the guide of  'modesty is key' so instead of just fitting in with the crowd why not really stand out? And not only with just an amazing hat or fascinator but with your dress. Take a peek at this idea...

I got this simple tee because I loved the slogan, in the current social media world we live in where hash tags and acronyms are in full use I see no harm in having a bit of fun with it.

It's been a while since I posted an outfit inspiration for you all, so I thought as we seem to be rapidly moving into my favourite season which is none other then Autumn, I would do one based around that...

I hear that pastel colours will be quite big this A/W so I definitely like this staple coat, teamed with a simple dress and ankle boots this outfit can be worn almost anywhere.

I spotted those funky glasses which I had to add to the whole look as the Sun likes to pop his hat on every now and then through Autumn too and why not protect your eyes with something not so dull?

 With the lovely weather we are in for this week (although I am aware it is still quite chilly) and in light of my and my girls booking our girly holiday for July over the weekend; I am truly inspired by all things SUMMER. So expect to see a lot of posts relating to hot weather, Summer skincare, beauty and much more.

Royal Ascot Outfit Inspiration

Hi All!!

I will be attending Royal Ascot for the first time ever this year and I wanted to share with you a few idea's I have to help me decide on what to wear.

Here are some photo's of what people have worn in the past....

Due to a few rule breakers, there is now an official Royal Ascot Style Guide for the Royal Enclosure....

Although I will be in the Grandstand Enclosure and the dress code is slightly laid back I really don't know what to wear. I'm thinking something a long the lines of what I would wear to a very posh wedding.
