Let's donate to a great cause!

Hi you charitable people you!

I'm working with a great charity called Link Up UK aka Great British Community who specialise in combating racism and divisions in society by celebrating the benefits of diversity.

If you're against all things prejudice then this is a great cause you should really know about and I would really advise you check out their website to read more about them. But this is a great charity who need as much donations as possible.

You can donate to this great cause now and help raise funds for the following:

  • £5 provides for campaigning or volunteers costs
  • £10 allows us to pay for an hour of a project workers time
  • £15 supports our network of community groups and charities working together to try and make the UK a more equal place
  • £20 contributes towards the development of one of our projects or go towards new online teaching materials for schools and parents

I would love love love if any of my followers who are against prejudice of any kind could donate to this great cause, just £5 will do or even £1! Please also help the cause by sharing - there is a widget displayed to the side of my blog and on my website so if you need the link don't hesitate to contact me.

You'll be seeing links to this site on every post moving forward! Let's help this charity make a great impression on the world

Review: Michael Kors 'Very Hollywood' Perfume

Hi Ladies!

I purchased this perfume from my recent trip to New York and wanted to do a review on it's packaging and scent as it is the very first Michael Kor's perfume I have ever owned.

Michael Kors 'Very Hollywood' Perfume

My Opinion
I adore the packaging, although it's not a very standout-ish bottle it is so pretty to me and light too - although this could be due to be having the 50ml bottle rather then a larger bottle. Considering it's call 'Very Hollywood' it's quite simple and could have been a bit more fabulous but I guess the guys over at MK wanted packaging that's not over the top.

The scent is a lovely light and floral which is a perfect type of scent for me and not heavy or sweet which is something I'm not a fan of. This would make a great daytime scent rather then evening, I don't think it's too strong as in staying power which for a night out I think we all need and look for, it seems to be better if you spray it on your clothes rather then your body. In staying with the name of the perfume if you sprayed a few spritzes of this on your body and clothes and then walked past a few people, I guarantee they would notice the scent and compliment you.

But don't be fooled, it's not a 'glamorous' scent although it's call Very Hollywood it makes me think of sunny days, going shopping in a slogan t-shirt, skinny jeans, hi tops and sunglasses. This is not the fragrance for evenings on the red carpet unless you really only adore light fragrances.

For me this gets a completely positive review for it's bottle shape and size and it's lovely delicate fragrance with traces of Gardenia. For those who are looking for a stronger scent this is not for you, but for those looking for something to make the smell delicate then definitely purchase this fragrance.

Nails of the day: OPI Cannoli

Hi Ladies!

It's been such a long time since I posted my nails on the blog, although if you follow me on Instagram you will have seen that I had them professionally done just before I went to New York.

Anyway I bought this in New York and wanted to share how my nails look with them for the first time, and although it's not the usually shade I go for, I do adore this colour.

OPI: Cannoli

What do you think about grey for your nails?

Lookbook: Three ways to wear Denim

Hi Beauts!

I think this is my very first Look book post, like ever on the blog, although I do have an account I don't use it anymore and now I think I might start sharing my outfit looks here in 2016.

To kick start the year with outfit posts rather then continue the whole Winter styled outfits I wanted to dedicate this to good old denim and three ways you can it for events such as date night or a Friday night at your local pub. So outfits not too casual or glamorous, check out my styled looks.

Outfit One

A fitted denim shirt and leggings make a great outfit that can instantly be sexed up with a pair of thigh high boots

Cardigan - Vintage
Denim shirt - Primark
Leggings - Topshop
Thigh Highs - Forever 21
Sunglasses - Armani Exchange

Outfit Two
Some people think double denim is a big no no, I on the other hand think if it's done right it can be a great look

Denim shirt - Primarks
Denim skirt - Primark
Heels - New Look

(Ignore the glasses in my skirt - I forgot they were there haha)

Outfit Three
Mixing a brightly coloured overcoat with lingerie and jeans can't go wrong if done correctly and not will you stand out, but you'll feel sexy

Oversized coat: Miss Selfridge
Bodysuit: Topshop
Jeans: Primark
Heels: Sam Edelman

I hope you liked this weeks looks, let me know how you like to style denim!

Welcome 2016: Happy New Year!

Hello readers!

Firstly HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all, I hope you had an amazing Christmas and New Year. This is just very brief post to say there is so much to come in 2016 with my blogging and singing and really hope you will all be around to see this happen and support me. Also my blog is going to have a complete revamp which will hopefully be complete Spring 2016 with a new name, domain and look; but the content won't change an awful lot.

Here's a sneak peek of my Festive season, not a lot as to be honest but I kept forgetting my camera and then if I did bring it I got a bit to tipsy and forgot it was there lol! So here's just a handful of photos from Christmas and New Year...

Yes, I got a car and it's a Mercedes!!!

So I don't really need to do a post dedicated on what I got for Christmas as the car was a huge gift and I'm so grateful for it. I did get bits and bobs like PJ's, money, vouchers, bath sets etc and it wouldn't be  Christmas without those types of gifts.
