Savage Beauty Academy Launch Party

Hey lovelies!

Hands up who loves everything beauty?

Hands up who wants to become a Qualified MakeUp Artist/Beauty Therapist?

Well then keep reading, and read right through to the end! This past weekend we celebrated the launch of the more inspirational woman in my life launching her  new business.... yes my Mother's Beauty Academy is ready and raring to go and I couldn't be more proud.

Taking place at the fabulous Garrick Theatre in Lichfield town centre we learnt more about why my mom decided to start this business, what is involved and how she can also help anyone who wants to start a business themselves.

Savage Beauty Academy is for those who want to become Qualified MakeUp Artist and/or Beauty Therapists. All courses are online, affordable and legit - meaning they are accredited by the well established Guild of Beauty Therapists so no nonsense for those unsure as to it's credibility.

For those who maybe already qualified in the beauty industry and are thinking, 'nothing I am writing about will not apply to me' well it does, because you can also take a course on starting and marketing your own business to make it successful.

There is so much that Jeni Bennett has to offer....

Along with her family and friends supporting her, there was beauty demos, entrepreneurs, life mentors and pageants queens also attending. We socialised over drinks and canopies and it was such a fabulous event....

Here are some family photos.....

My mother is a truly inspirational woman and I so so proud of her... did I mention that already?

Please please please go support her and follow Savage Beauty Academy on Facebook Twitter Instagram and YouTube

Outfit of the Night: Plunge into Pink Leather

Hi

This weekend was my families annual trip to Blackpool and it really was another epic trip away. For those new to the party every year my family go away to Blackpool to celebrate my Uncle's birthday and it's a great way for the whole family to come together, drink and have fun besides events like christmas. Although having said that we are a close knit family and get together quite an awful lot.

Anyway.... here is my fabulous outfit.....

Heels - New Look

Unfortunately I was unable to get clear photos with the use of my Canon but everything went so quick whilst getting ready so I hope these photo's are OK for you guys.  I also decided to go direct to the source of supplier for a third of the price rather then order from a 'Boutique' here in the UK and I can confirm the quality of the dress was great.

Also, this is how I did my make up using various pink tones from MAC and Make-Up Revolution....

And to answer your question; yes I did get hot in the dress but I looked good and probably lost a couple pounds in the process anyway haha!

I'm considering getting this is gold as well as the pink, what do you think?

Outfit of the Night: PJ Party

Hi All!

Last weekend I attended a PJ themed house party and my goodness was it a good night. I wanted to show you all what I picked to wear...

 Onesie: New Look

I purposely purchased this particular onesie for the night because I thought it would go great with a pair of heels and it really stood out, the aztec print is very bold.....

(I am very drunk here)

Here are the onesie's my mates wore.....

Although it was PJ attire there was no way I was going to the party looking frumpy in slippers etc. I'm not the kind of person that wears onesies outside the house but I have to say I was very comfy in this and when I stumbled in at 5.30am Sunday morning I didn't need to change for bed haha.

What do you think?

Catch up: Outfits over Christmas

Hi All!!

I thought it best I do a little catch up post, I have been so busy over the Christmas period with work, Christmas shopping and performances I really haven't had chance to blog. So a very belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all! I hope you all had a fabulous Festive season and I look forward to blogging properly in 2013.

Now... here is a little catch up post of the outfits I have worn for events over the Christmas period that I haven't had chance to post about until now.....

Clothes Show Live 2012
It is tradition for me to attend this even every year and I was not disappointed at all! Loved the catwalk and of course the shopping! I purchased a Vintage cardigan, a Celeb Boutique copy dress, House of Holland undies and plenty of jewellery.

Blouse: Jane Norman
Leopard Bow: Headscarf
Leggings: River Island
Leopard Boots: Office

Works Christmas Party
The annual work Christmas do was held at the Radisson, Heathrow. Another spectacular awards show and party although I hate the fact that it was buffet food and we had nowhere to sit down?!!!

Dress: Lipsy
Heels: Primark

Christmas Day
I spent Christmas Day at my mom and step-dads farm this year, something different and really authentic too. We had cockrel instead of turkey and the whole family spent the afternoon at the farm with a lot of fun and laughter. I visited my dad on the night which I almost didn't do because I was SO tired. A great day and sme fabulous gifts too including driving lessons, a new coat and a fab new Samsung wifi digital camera.

Jumper: Hypnotic
Lipstick: No7 Coral

I hope you liked!

Bank Holiday: A Family Wedding

Hi All!!

It's been a while since I posted here, I 've had a few things to sort out but hopefully I will be getting back into the swing of things now. I hope you all had a great bank holiday weekend? I had two weddings to attend and this is the first of two post's about them.

On Saturday I attended my cousin's wedding and here is what I wore....

Dress: Lipsy
Jacket: Primark

And instead of a fascinator I wore this bow I bought from Miss Selfridge for only £1....

My cousin's who was the Bride decided on purple as the theme colour as you can see by her flowers and the Father of the Bride's suit.....

It was a lovely day and I was so happy to see her wed, she is the first grandchild to get married so it goes to show how we're all growing up now! There are a few other photo's for me to add here but my laptop has decided to play up again so I will add them soon.

Outfit of the Night: Leather and Chiffon

Hi All!!

Last weekend I went to Blackpool for my family tradition of celebrating my Uncle's birthday and I wanted to show you what I wore....

Asymmetric Dress: House of Fraser
Belt: Primark

I wish I had some better photos of this dress, as you might be able to see the top half is leather and the rest is chiffon. It was actually quite see through so I had to wear a bodycon skirt underneath to protect my dignity! Here are some photos of the night....

Hope you liked!

Outfit of the Night: Superheroes and Villans Bar Crawl

Hi All!!

On Monday night me and my girls Annmarie and Kayleigh went to another bar crawl with a Superhero and Villans theme. The group we were in had the DC Comics theme so we decided to dress up as Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Supergirl!

It was an amazing night and even better then the last bar crawl we attended, I have to say it was one of THE best nights out I have ever had in Wolverhampton. If you have been following my blog for a few years you will know that I have previously dressed up as Catwoman for Halloween but of course had to top myself and do it even better this time around. So I wanted to show you our outfits.....

And as you can tell I was VERY drunk by the end of the night!

Outfit of the Night: Works Christmas Party

Hi All!!

Last weekend was my works christmas party at The Radisson Hotel. This year I decided to recycle an outfit that you have seen me in previously and is one of the first recycled outfits to appear on my blog. Unlike the dress I wore last year which I have never worn again since. Yes ladies and gentlemen; I wore my bridesmaid dress to another major event...

Dress: House of Fraser

A close up of the bead detail...

I also had my nails done to go with my dress...

Ring: Gift from Hawai
Bracelet: Spoiltbaby

I got a few compliments on this dress which is always nice to hear.
What did you wear to your works Christmas party?

Richard's Graduation Party and Outfit of the Night

Hi All!

I am finally able to do a post about Richard's Graduation party that I organised last weekend. If you remember reading here the party was my gift to Richard as a congratulations on passing his degree with a 2:1 result!

Let me tell you if you have never organised a proper party it is HARD work and I did it all by myself the decorations, the food etc! Bryony helped me with the entertainment which was lovely of her; we should go into the party planning business! Everyone enjoyed it which was fabulous, means I did a good job!!

Here is my outfit...

Dress: Missguided.co.uk
Heels: New Look

What do you think?
Have a peek at some other photos of the night....
