Haul: Knuckle Rings

Hi All!

I purchased these cute little rings earlier this week....

4x Rings - Accessorize

I hadn't seen any rings I liked enough until I found these and my favourite's are definitely the bunny and bow rings. They are very comfortable and rarely felt like they would slip off; this could have been my paranoia though haha. Nonetheless I will be wearing these a lot.

What do you think of these? Do you wear knuckle rings?

Nails: Hot pink claws

Hi All!!!

I got my nails done professionally by Kazz over at Kazzmetics this week......

Originally I wanted my acrylic nails taken off and replaced with shellac gel. But mid way through filing te acrylic, we decided to get them on to shape into claws. So Kazz applied shellac over the top and in fills and I chose to have Hot Pink varnish. These are my first ever claws and I love them, next time I think we'll go all out with some nail art.

What do you think? Make sure you check out the website and you can also find Kazzmetics on Facebook/Instagram.

Review: Brat & Suzie Sweater

Hi All!!

I was sent this fabulous sweater from the team over at Brat and Suzie on and wanted to share it with you......

Brat & Suzie have recently launched their ridiculously cute Summer collection. This includes prints such as owls, pugs and gooses on t-shirts and sweaters.

I was sent the 'Owl couple' sweater and it's such a comfortable sweater I really loved wearing it plus I got a few compliments on it too. When I wore it out I teamed it with a pair of jeans and converse for a casual look.

However I also tried it with some new Zara shorts and heels....

I would highly recommend this range and reckon you should take a peek at the rest on offer. I received the item promptly and whilst I was on holiday, so I was gutted to have to wait until my return. But it was packaged well and safely waiting.  What do you think of this jumper?

How I wear my Midi Skirts

Hi All!!

I've been MIA for a few weeks due to going on holiday to Canada which was amaaaaazing and busy busy busy with life in general. So a few posts in the pipeline this week, if you follow me on my Instagram you will have seen these posts but I had to do OOTD blog posts.

I've been loving the midi skirt trend recently and I think there are so many ways to wear them and wanted to show just a few ways I like to wear them..

Smart Midi
I team this green Topshop midi with nudes and golds for work. The colour's really complimented each other and the pop of green made the outfit 'pop'.

Pin Up Midi
This was for a night out, the denim River Island midi teamed with my cropped Forever 21 top and the usual 'pin up' attributes such as red heels an lipstick made for a great outfit.

Funky Midi
This was a last minute outfit for a day at work, I teamed my denim River Island midi with my fav tux style shirt, bowtie and vintage converse. A very unique outfit that gained a few compliments.

So which is your favourite outfit?

Save and raise money for charity with My Favourite Voucher Codes

Hi All!!

So I wanted to share with you a great website that I feel my fellow bargain hunters will be interested in. My Favourite Voucher Codes gives you a source to use the most exclusive promo codes for over 2,400 merchants and retailers in the UK. These include top fashion retailers such as; Karen Millan, boohoo, La Senza and Motel Rocks. Not forgetting well known restaurants and department stores such as Thorntons and Dominos Pizza.

Using this site for free you have access to a wide range of discount vouchers and promo codes that will help you save money at the click of a button. All you have to do is search for the retailer you wish to save money with and enter the unique code to redeem the voucher. Alternatively there is the option to print selected vouchers to use in store.

Taking a look around the website myself it is very easy to use and with so much choice I wouldn't know where to begin... although the fashion retailers would more then likely get first dibs. I've also noticed the voucher codes app that you can download which makes it much easier to use.

They also have a very clever browser app for Chrome and Firefox browsers that alerts you to when a retailer that you are shopping with has a voucher code available, so you don’t have to search for a deal or a discount as this handy little app does the work for you! So download this voucher code app and never pay full price again.

Not only do they provide you with some of the best deals for you to grab some bargains but they also donate 20% of their net profit to charity. It's always a great feeling knowing you are helping charities and any users of the site get to choose just what charity they will donate to via a monthly poll so you will always have an input to that choice.

So what are you waiting for? Check out the website today and take a peek at one of the current offers - 10% off all Deborah Milano purchases when you use their Deborah Milano voucher code.

Outfit of the Day: Royal Ascot 2013

Hi All!

Last week Thursday I had the fab opportunity of going to Ladies Day at Royal Ascot for the very first time and I have to say it was a trully amazing experience. I've been to horse racing before and attending my local Ladies Day, but this was top notch and definitely what I expected.

It was lovely seeing everyone all dressed up, all the ladies amazing hats and the men looked rather dashing in their suits. It was also surreal seeing The Queen with my own eyes and I was quite terrible and forgot to bet on her horse Estimate because my mom and I were too busy chatting... gutted! But congratulations to Elizabeth for winning The Golden Cup... the first Monarch to do so as well!

Anyway here is what I wore....

Fascinator: Amazon
Heels: Primark
Necklace: Unknown
Belt: Primark

Me and my mom....

The ladies we went with....

Some photos of the day....

What do you think? Did any of you go, if so please link me to your posts?

I didn't win any money but it was a great day and I will definitely attend more often from now on so roll on next year!!!

I came across this photo on Instagram and have been keen to try out the ombre lips effect but not quite sure where to start or what shades to go with. I really wanted to share it with yourselves as I think it's a simple guide for ombre lips...

I don't know where this originates from but the creator has restored faith that I could possibly make this look work.

Have you ever tried ombre lips?

Primark Launches Online

Hi All!!

This week our beloved high street store Primark has finally launched it's brand online via ASOS and I couldn't be happier!

Primark has resisted the option of online sales for it's shoppers because they wanted to keep the high street experience alive. And like many, I do enjoy in store shopping experiences - on a good and well prepared day - but we all know Primark can be one of the most hectic places to shop.

The transition to the online shopping world should prove a success for the brand and I wish them all the luck in the world. I just hope they include a wide range of items available online. It will also make it easier to purchase items via a well known and respected brand like ASOS a comfortable online experience.
There is only a selected bunch currently available but if you see anything you like well.... a little birdie told me there is a discount code currently running for 10% off - JUNBAY2013 ... shhh!

So if you see anything at the moment happy shopping and make sure you leave a comment to tell me your thoughts on this!!!

Review: Bobby Brown Brighten & Correct Eye Duo

Hi All!!

Bobbi Brown Brighten and Correct Eye Duo

It's Purpose
Set contains a Tinted Eye Brightener and Hydrating Eye Cream - get a flawless look with this superb set from Bobbi Brown.

My Opinion
I really wanted to try this product out as it's been a while since I wore a different brand and type of concealer and it's been a very long time since I tried any kind of eye cream. The cream itself is great, my undereyes instantly felt a lot more fresh once I applied this. I didn't need to use much either, only a small dab for each eye and it absorbs really quickly.....

I was sent the concealer in 'light' and although you might be wondering why such a light shade for myself I have to say that even for my complexion it is the perfect shade once blended in...

I have been wearing the concealer all week rather then try it once and then post a review, I wanted to make sure that it was a product I could either recommend or not with an honest opinion and experience it more then once now that it is apart of my make up kit.

I really do like the results. I will say that I am someone who needs maximum coverage and I have tried experimenting with the product by itself and also with my holy grail concealer. Honestly, I do prefer it blended over my HG purely because of the kind of coverage I desire, I can not fault that it does brighten and conceal though. Using only a few dabs blended in with a sponge and held in place by a matte powder.  As you can see just above my cheek bones and upwards my under eye is brighter.....

So a product I would give the thumbs up to and would definitely recommend, whether you prefer light or full coverage it caters to all,  and for the price I really don't think you can ignore this duo.
Where to get it
Available at QVC for only £19.50, this is definiately a good price for the product.

This product was received to review and is given with honest opinion

Outfit of the Night: Polka Dot Playsuit

Hi All!!

I went out the Bank Holiday weekend and wanted to show you what I wore....

Playsuit: Primark
Blazer: ASOS
Heels: Republic

I haven't worn this playsuit for a long long time, and as we had a couple of sunny days for the bank holiday I thought a summery styled outfit would be the best way to go.

I thought the Navy and Red went really well together too. What do you think?

Trends: The Glamour of The Great Gatsby

Hi All!!

So I'm really eager to see The Great Gatsby this week and I wanted to do a post inspired by the twenties clothing. So basically everything flapper and bling.....

Flapper Dress

Embellished Top

Hair Chain

Suspender Clips

Suspender Tights

Embellished Clutch

I have to say although I love the 1920's style, but my most favourite decade for clothes has to be 1960's and 1980's. I love everything funky and everything pin up! What is your favourite era for clothing?

If you have seen this film what did you think?
