Haul: Superdrug 3 for 2 Beauty Haul

Hi Lovelies

I decided to take full advantage of the 3for2 beauty offer currently running in Superdrug at the moment, it was the perfect timing as I have been keen to purchase some new items for my make up collection.

I was about to run out of my HG foundation which is MAC studio fix fluid, I have been using this liquid foundation for about 8 years and decided it was about time I found a dupe for the days when I want to save a bit on my make up that month...

My dupe for Studio Fix Powder has to be Rimmel Stay Matte powder, so purchased this also......

As my eyebrow pencil has nearly finished I also picked up the Beauty UK pencil and i'm very impressed by the brush....

Did you take advantage of the 3for2 offer? What did you buy, leave some links below!

Healthy Eating: Detox Water

Hi Everyone!

Recently I have been drinking lots and lots of detox water, I came across this interesting way to drink water online. We are supposed to drink about 1 litre of water a day, I personally find drinking that amount hard. Why? Because water is boring to me, I love flavour and so when I came across this I was SO happy.

It is one of the easiest things you can make when trying to be healthy. All you have to do is add fruit to water and leave for a few hours or overnight so that it infuses together and then drink. If you want to eat the fruit after  you can.

My most recent detox water is strawberry, I find he strongest fruits like citrus are the best tasting - Pineapple is one of my favourites.

The benefits of detox water is it's a natural detox, helping flush impurities out of your system. No matter the flavour when I drink this I know that I am filing my systems with the required amount of water I need a day and the nutrients from the fruit/veg

The best detox water is lemon water and the benefits of that are:
Clears skin
Balances PH
Ais digestion
Natural Diuretic
Boosts immune system
Helps with weight loss
Hydrates the lymph system

Have you tried detox water?

My Memory Jar

Hi Folk!

I've been meaning to start up a Memory Jar since the start of January but with me being me I kept forgetting to actually buy a jar to be able to do this.

So what is a memory jar you might ask?

Well it's a place to write down memories that stand out to you - good or bad - mainly good memories though, that you put into the jar for that year. You can also put in anything such as tickets to events and keepsakes etc. As long as it can fit into the jar and you still have room to fill it with memorabilia throughout the year you're good to go.

You can decorate the jar anyway you wish to, mines pretty simple at the moment as I'm not a 100% sure what else to add to it. I have put some marble like stones with confetti at the bottom of the jar...

You have to wait until the end of the year, and then open your jar and go through all your wonderful memories. So far mine is filled with good memories, I want to be happy about all the things I experienced this year when I go through mine......

Do you have a memory jar? If not why don't you start one up, it's not too late to remember all the good stuff you've been through so far this year! And if you have jar leave your link in the comments so I can see yours.
